Activity: Look up information on the Worldwide Web about the Civil War. Use that information to construct a “letter home” from a major battle in the War. Pretend you are a soldier in the war that has just gone through one of the major battles of the War (you choose which side you are on and what battle you fought in). Describe the battle to your family, as well as the war in general.

Citizenship Rights and Responsibilities Voting

Activity: Read about the issues that are important in elections and decide which political parties you agree with more. Also, print out a list of which candidates represent you in government, both in the state of Ohio and the Federal government.
