He was very mouthy and didn't stand very well for hoof picking. He would either try to walk or reach around to me.
Walking and trotting with him was a struggle. He was very distracted and constantly in my personal space. It was especially bad on the trail walk.
I only put the saddle pad on him and he kept trying to reach around and take it off. Otherwise, he was fine walking around with it on.

He stood still for the most part. He tried to mouth his lead rope a few times. He's starting to improve his personal space understanding.
I put the saddle pad on him. He was pretty mouthy with it but otherwise he did fine with it all over his back and on his neck.
He still struggles on keeping his pace and not stopping whenever he wants. He still needs a lot of coaxing to get going again.

He tried to mouth his lead rope a few times. He did great standing still and I was able to pick his hooves without too much trouble.
He has started to grasp the concept of personal space. He only came into my space a few times while we were standing idle.
The saddle pad didn't bother him at all. He was mouthy with the saddle on him. He wasn't very concerned about it being on his back.
He took quite a bit to get going and keep a pace on a lunge line. He seemed very distracted by everything around him. He did stop out on the line without fully turning in to me.

He did not mouth his lead rope very much. He stayed very aware of my presence and authority. He kept his distance from me.
He was fine with the saddle pad on and while walking around. I just had to keep an eye on him to prevent mouthing.
He struggled to keep a pace on a lunge line and stops on his own. He needed constant pressure to get him going. He free lunged the same way.

He was a little more distracted by the other horses. His sense of space from me was well kept. He trotted great with a little bit of coaxing.
He did not mind the saddle pad or saddle on him. He tends to be more mouthy with the saddle on.
He did better on the lead rope but still needs quite a bit of pressure to keep a pace. He didn't try to stop as much as before.
He did much better on the trail walk. He kept his distance and didn't try walking off. I did have to slow his pace a few times.
