Oilfield Inspection Consultants LLP is an oilfield service company providing OCTG, NDT, Lifting and Load test inspection services and allied services to Oil & Gas industry. OIC LLP management has several years of Oil & Gas industry experience between them and they are passionate to eliminate failures by providing quality inspections and identifying hazards that potentially could become problematic.

DYE PENETRANT INSPECTION.

Dye penetrant inspection (DPI), also called liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to locate surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics). The penetrant may be applied to all non- ferrous materials and ferrous materials. LPI is used to detect casting, forging and welding surfacedefects such as cracks, surface porosities, and leaks in new products, and fatigue cracks on in- service component

Magnetic Particle Testing:

It Involves Inducting magnetic field in the Ferromagnetic Material Covering the surface in either dry or wet suspension of magnetic particles over the surface of the part under testing. Any Surface or Subsurface Imperfection will cause flux leakage and it will cause iron particle to gather around the flux leakage and form the indication for evaluation and interpretation.


Drill Pipe/Work-String (Tubing) Inspection

Inspection is performed using our latest generation EMI Logging unit, in compliance with API, DS-1 and NS – 2 Standards. Results of inspection can be generated in real time via our latest generation laptop and software.OIC is capable to perform Drill Pipe & Tubing Inspection of all sizes ranging from 2 3/8” to 6 5/8”O.D.
