Medical Laboratory TechnicianAssociate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in: � Hospitals � Outpatient clinics � Private medical laboratories

The program format includes online/hybrid classes, classroom laboratory practice, and supervised clinical experience.

The program is designed to allow students to graduate with an AAS degree in two years. Three semesters will be spent doing coursework and two semesters will be split between coursework and clinical rotations at an affiliated clinical facility.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the national ASCP Board exams to become a certified Medical Laboratory Technician or a Certified Phlebotomist
