OSU gets 67 percent of its power from the Cowboy Wind Farm, the equivalent of removing the pollutants of 15,000 vehicles from the atmosphere.

That places OSU in the top 5 on the EPA’s list of colleges and universities receiving their electricity from green power.

OSU’s wind power investment grows the state’s economy, adds jobs and delivers value to consumers, Gov. Mary Fallin said while celebrating the switch.
