Shielding effect

The aluminium coating is applied in a vacuum and, with a thickness starting from approx. 2.5 μm, guarantees good adhesion and a shielding effect of < 30-40 dB in the frequency range from 30 to 1,000 MHz.

The vapour-plating system at OKW has been specially adapted to meet EMC require-ments. The ALVACOAT® method is ideally suited to shielding electronic equipment against radiation from outside as well as from increased internal emission noise.

The control of the thickness of the coating makes it possible to meet individual require-ments. Coating of other materials on request.

Do you want your enclosure to have a special colour or an unusual surface finish? No problem! We can paint it at a reasonable price with high-grade, UV-resistant 2-component paints. Short preparation/processing times, since all paints are produced using our own paint mixing plant.

Printing directly on the case

Digital printing directly on the case also makes a great impression. We can print ABS surfaces with differences in heigh of up to 2.5 mm – straight, convex and also concave. To protect the printed image, the surface is painted over with clear lacquer.

The digital printing process (photo quality) allows different design versions without big expenses.

Decorative foils or sales packaging can be printed even for just 1 unit for lettering and for adding colour.

Special features: consecutive numbering, barcodes or price specifications.
