INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Maintain and Edit Portfolios user guide for Wealth Interactive. This functionality allows you to easily keep your portfolios updated. If you have Master User access, you will also be able to publish portfolios so that other users within your firm can use the portfolio you have created. This user guide will cover how to: Link policies to existing portfolios Modify existing portfolios Rebalance linked policies Publish portfolios Copy and save as a new portfolio Delete Portfolios For information on building portfolios, please refer to our Build Portfolios user guide.

HOMEPAGE

1. Select the ‘Portfolios’ tab at the top of the homepage.

PORTFOLIOS TAB

1. Select the portfolio you require from the portfolios list.

PORTFOLIO OVERVIEW 1. Select ‘Link policies’ and turn to the next

page of this user guide.

2. Hover over the ‘Manage portfolio’ tab.

3. Select ‘Modify portfolio’ to make changes to the portfolio’s assets and percentage split and turn to page 11 of this user guide.

4. Select ‘Rebalance linked policies’ and turn to page 17 of this user guide for further steps.

5. Select ‘Publish portfolio’ and turn to page 18 of this user guide.

6. Select ‘Save as a new portfolio’ and turn to page 20 of this user guide.

7. Select ‘Delete portfolio’ to remove it from the system and turn to page 22 of this user guide.

LINK POLICIES This section of the user guide will show you

how to link polices to you portfolio. Use this function in preparation for rebalancing multiple policies

1. Click ‘Select’ next to the policy/policies

you wish to link to the portfolio.

If the policies is already linked to another portfolio, a warning message will appear. Click ‘Continue’ to link it to your new portfolio. (See note).

NOTE: By clicking ‘Continue’ policies will automatically be removed from any other linked portfolios.

SELECT POLICIES TO LINK 1. The number of selected polices will

be shown here.

2. Select ‘Remove’ next to the policy name if you no longer want to link it to the portfolio.

3. Click ‘Next’ to proceed.

REVIEW AND SUBMIT POLICIES TO LINK Check through the selected policies.

1. If you’ve made a mistake and no

longer wish to link a policy/policies, tick the box next to the policy name(s) and select ‘Remove’.

2. Click ‘Submit’ to confirm and submit.

TIP: Use the ‘Back’ button to go back and select additional policies if required. (see arrow 3).

POLICIES LINKED CONFIRMATION 1. Select ‘Print confirmation’ for full

details on the policies linked.

2. Click ‘Back to portfolio’ to return to the policy overview page.

What happens next? You will now be able to rebalance policies linked to the portfolio. The number of policies linked to the portfolio will be displayed towards the top left of the screen.

MODIFY PORTFOLIO This section of the user guide will show

you how to modify an existing portfolio. This option is useful if you only need to make minor adjustments to a large portfolio of assets. 1. Change the name of the portfolio

and edit the portfolio description if required.

Please turn to the next page of this user guide for further steps on this stage of the process.

MODIFY PORTFOLIO (CONTINUED)

1. Use the ‘Search’ function to locate any assets you wish to add to the portfolio.

2. Click ‘Search’.

3. Tick the box(es) next to the asset(s) you wish to add to the portfolio.

4. Select ‘Add asset(s)’.

5. Select ‘Add asset classes’ and tick any additional asset classes if required.

TIP: We recommend searching by ISIN or SEDOL code to ensure the correct assets is selected.

MODIFY PORTFOLIO (CONTINUE)

1. Tick the box(es) next to the fund name(s) to remove any unwanted funds. Click ‘Remove’ at the top of the column.

2. Enter/change the percentages within the ‘Asset split (%)’ column.

3. Click ‘Select’ to confirm the changes made.

RISK SCORE CHANGED 1. Some alterations to the portfolio

may mean that the risk score will change (if a Risk score has been selected).

2. Select ‘ Continue’ if you are happy to continue with the amended portfolio.

3. Alternatively, select ‘Reset asset allocation’ to restore the original portfolio settings or ‘Edit’ to amend any changes.

PORTFOLIO SUCCESSFULLY SAVED 1. Click OK when the pop up appears

to confirm that the portfolio has been saved.

What happens next? You will then be given the option to download a portfolio review report and to rebalance any linked policies (see page 17 for further steps on this). Clicking ‘Cancel’ will direct you back to the portfolio summary page.

REBALANCING LINKED PLANS 1. Select to rebalance all polices.

2. Click ‘Next’ to proceed.

REVIEW AND SUBMIT POLICIES TO REBALANCE 1. Tick the box(es) next to the

policy/policies you wish to rebalance.

2. Select ‘Submit’ to confirm your selection.

What happens next? Rebalancing will take place at the next available dealing point. You will be able to view and print off confirmation of the rebalance instruction.

PUBLISH PORTFOLIO This section of the user guide will show

you how to publish a portfolio. Use this function so other users within your firm can access a portfolio you have created. (You will need to be a Master User to do this)

1. Select ‘Close’ to return to the

portfolio summary page.

PUBLISH PORTFOLIO (CONTINUED) 1. To unpublish a portfolio, click ‘Edit’

from the portfolio summary page. A drop down menu will appear. Select ‘No’ and then ‘Save’.

2. A pop-up message will appear. Select ‘Unpublish’ to confirm.

SAVE AS NEW PORTFOLIO This section of the user guide will show you how to copy an existing portfolio

and save it as a new one. Use this functionality if you need to update assets and percentages within a portfolio whilst keeping the old version available.

1. Change the name of the portfolio and edit the portfolio description if

required.

2. Use the ‘Search’ function to locate any assets you wish to add to the portfolio.

3. Click ‘Search’.

4. Tick the box(es) next to the asset(s) you wish to add to the portfolio and select ‘Add asset(s)’.

5. Tick the box(es) next to the fund name(s) to remove any unwanted funds. Click ‘Remove’ at the top of the column.

6. Enter/change the percentages within the ‘Asset split (%)’ column.

7. Click ‘Select’ to confirm the changes made.

SAVE NEW PORTFOLIO (CONTINUED)

Your portfolio is now saved and can be located under the ‘Portfolios’ tab.

1. Select ‘OK’. You will then be taken

back to the portfolio summary page.

DELETE PORTFOLIO Use this function if you no longer want

your portfolio saved online. This cannot be undone once deleted.

1. Select ‘Delete’ to remove the

portfolio from the system. What happens next?

You will then be taken back to the ‘Portfolios’ page. Any policies linked to the deleted plan will be automatically unlinked.
