However sulfur content may impact oil drain interval. Low SAPS oils are effective at sustaining emission control system durability where particulate filters (DPF or FAP) and other advanced after-treatment systems are used.

Introduced in 2002. For high-speed, four-stroke engines, included EGR engines, designed to meet USA 2002 exhaust emission standards. It admits diesel fuels ranging in sulfur content up to 0.5%. (Also variation viscosity control).

The excess heat generated in engines during combustion has to be evacuated via the cooling circuit. That’s why we need coolants.

Colorants are only an aesthetic-visual property which some manufacturers use to distinguish between coolants of a different nature.

DO NOT MIX different kinds of coolant/anti-freeze, as certain additives may inter-react, forming acids compounds which are dangerous for the engine.
