A is for Aboriginal ParticipationAnocs goal is to achieve unprecedented aboriginal participation in the planning and hosting of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympics winter games.

B is for Biathlon Biathlon which is a combined sport cross-country skiing and rifle shooting it did not start as a sport but as a way for northern European hunters,

C is for Ceremonies Ceremonies are large-scale community celebrations that capture the spirit and unique personality of the host city.

D is for David BissettDavid Bessett is on Team Canada and is a bobsledder, he is 510 and weights 225 lbs. He is 30 years old and has his birthday on the 26 of September.

E is for Education programs As Olympic and Paralympic athletes began their final preparations for the 2010 winter games. Schools across the country will be tuning in the media .

F is for Feature ProgramsThere are many programs in the games such as the Paralympic school programs. Pan Canadian Paralympic school week, bon voyage sumi, Canadian Paralympic committee.

G is for Gold MedalGold Medal a prize that is worth millions of dollars that is given away to the winning country.

H is for Half PipeHalf Pipe is a game thats involves snow boarding. Half Pipe is when they do as much tricks as they can and complete most flips.

I is for Ice Hockey A game that has 12 players on each team. It is meant for both girls and boys but most popular is the men's hockey. Sidney Crosby won the winning goal in the finals against the United States.

J is for Ski Jumping Mens ski jumping has been of the Olympic winter games since the first games in Chamonix, in 1924. the first known ski jumper was olaf rye.

K is for kind-heart The athletes are kind hearted when they shake hands or give hugs to the people they just played against.

L is for LugeA sport that with the lowest combined time and the fastest total time determined the winner.

M is for MascotsA made up creature that supports the Olympics. That also helps get pumped up for the games and are animals that are sold toys.

N is for NorthNorth where the Olympic Winter Games are happening right at this moment.

O is for OlympicsOlympics a game that happens every four years. A time where all the countries athletes some together to do something they love.

P is for ParticipationParticipation is when all the athletes participate to compete for family and friends, also competing for there country.

Q is for Quatchi Quatchi is a young sasquatch who comes from the mysterious forest of Canada.

R is for Reports There are many reports on the Olympic site such as buy smart stockholder the buy smart has 77 participants representing 67 organization with interests in labor.

W is for Wheelchair Curling Wheelchair curling is a relatively new sport making its Paralympic debut at the Torino 2006 Paralympic winter games.

Y is for Yekaterina AbramoreShe is a speed skater and is 55:, Yekaterina weights 147 lbs. She was born on April 14,1982 and is 27 years old. She is from Russia.

Z is for Zero Zero is a sports term in biathlon. Zeros meaning is before the start of a competition.
