Project 20/20 Update Training this week has included surgery and laboratory core teams. We have had project managers from Meditech on site as well reviewing our progress to date. PAC meeting was well attend-ed on Thursday on good discussion was among the group. Teams not in training have used the time this week for continued build-ing of necessary dictionaries to make everything come together.

One thing that is becoming clearer as we get further into the build is the need for collaboration and standardization among multiple groups. For example, calling the same thing, by a different name, in different locations, only causes confusion when all the records come together in one place. With Expanse, we will have one record for all patients and providers. There will be changes for us all, and very few of us like change. Let’s work together to find the best ways to come together for those we serve. 229 days until Expanse go live as of 2/15/19

Let’s BUILD IT BETTER TOGETHER!

PROJECT 20/20 One View . . . One Record

For general questions, please contact TJ at [email protected]. For providers, please contact Dr. Frase at [email protected].

Getting to Know Jennifer Wheeler1) What does #IamOMC mean to you? OMC is a service organization, so to me, it means I am here to help you. Whatever that looks like to my customer, whatever it is they need, I’m here to help. I’m proud to say #IamOMC!

2) What is your favorite place in the world? In my kitchen cooking for my family!

3) What’s a fun fact about you? I love motor sports!

4) If you could get rid of one thing out of this world, what would it be? Anger, hostility, war. I feel like those things all go hand in hand. Imagine what we could accomplish if we all worked together as one team.

5) What is your favorite thing about OMC? The sense of family. Our coworkers become part of our family, we work hard together, celebrate together, cry together. I think that’s what holds the team together, being able to lean on each other just like we lean on our families at home.

SEA Spotlight: Cathy McKeeWhat is a fun fact about yourself? I am a farm girl at heart. I love my chick-ens, ducks and cows.

If you could meet any-one, living or dead, who would you meet? Princess Diana (it’s a girl thing).

What is your proudest moment at OMC? Just re-flecting on moments that my patients have touched my heart, how I’ve grown and become a better person through those moments.

What is one thing on your bucket list? I want to travel to Scotland.

What does Service Excellence mean to you? Trying my hardest to make a difference in someone else’s life by being compassionate, knowledgeable in my job and serving others with with a giving heart.

Service Excellece ConferenceA group of our service excellence leaders received the opportunity to learn more great information about service excellence and will be bringing that back to OMC soon so we can continue to strive to be the em-ployer and provider of choice.

Almighty God, we stand amazed before

You, for in the times when things are

happening around us that we do not under-

stand, that cause us to feel weak, helpless

and afraid, You are there with us. It is in

these times that You assure us that the situation is in Your

hands. We trust you completely in these situations for not

only are You with us but You grant us strength and wisdom

allowing us to endure the situation and bring glory to You.

You are truly amazing. In your Holy Name we pray, Amen.
