As a result of a two-year development, FIA willintroduce in 2013 a new homologation guaran-tee that includes a counterfeit hologram, a logfor all the homologated products and an offi-cial list of the approved manufacturers.

This is a significant step forward in guarante-eing the authenticity and origin of equipmentsestablishing a solid barrier against non-ho-mologated and unsafe counter fe i ted products.

This regulation was first introduced in 2012for the seats and as of January 1st, 2013will be in force for fire retardant suits, har-nesses, helmets and head & neck devices.

This new regulation will not significantly impact dealers and consumers; it’s sim-ply an additional guarantee on the pro-duct conformity.

OMP developments for 2013 focused mainly on increasingcomfort for both drivers and teams.An important contribution to the driver’s comfort is the“Dry System” patented technology. “Dry System” itemscreate zone of high breathability aligned with strategicareas of the body. The high breathability areas vent outheat and reduce body temperature, improving driver per-formance and resistance to fatigue.The “Dry System” technology is present in the ONE product line for suits (One Evo and One-S) and underwearboth. The combination of suit and underwear using “Dry System” develops the full benefit of this technology,maximizing comfort and performances. One underwear also features a tubular construction that mi-nimize the number of seams, and new engineered cuts, fora comfort without compromises.

Another key factor for driver comfort are shoes, and OMPhas invested many efforts and resources in developing its2013 shoe models. We are proud to present the One Shoescollection, that represent a huge step forward in shoe com-fort, thank to its new foot support and shoe constructiontechnology, that includes an ultrathin injected sole for maximum grip and very direct feeling on the pedals, an internal polypropylene reinforcement to reduce fatigue andprotect the foot from sharp objects, comfort foams to reduce localized pressure points, and 2 extra layers of ther-mal insulation, that will be especially appreciated in vehi-cles with a very hot front firewall. Not only the One Shoecollection, but practically all of OMP shoes have been

re-designed with great attention to details that resulted ina significant comfort improvement and great aesthetic. Last but absolutely not least, OMP introduces this year ournew One-S glove, a glove that will satisfy even the most exi-gent drivers. An ultrathin high grip palm designed to minimize effortscombines with a re-engineered shape and all externalseams to reach unprecedented comfort and performance.Our longstanding best seller glove Speed has also under-gone a light technical revision, and is now presented asFirst-S.

Improvements on comfort and performances, new acces-sories and new style details have also been introduced inour intercom line (the improved items are identified by the“2013 MY” words) and in our helmet line.Motorsport is a team effort , and we also focused on impro-ving comfort for the crew. Thanks to our winning experience in the WEC World Cham-pionship and in the Le Mans 24 Hours, as well as our expe-rience with FIA crew items, we are introducing significantnew details for crew suits and shoes. Last but not least, a new XS size has been added to our TRSseat model, as compact cars become more and more com-mon in racing grounds.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR HANS® DEVICE

To choose the appropriate size and model of Hans® device,it is necessary to measure your neck size and determine theangle of your seating position. The Hans® device can be used with any helmet with theFIA/Hans® homologation and approval (refer to the helmetsection to determine which models comply with thishomologation and may be used with the Hans® device).

10°: very upright seating position (for example, Rally...).20°: upright seating positions, for use in saloons, GT...30°: semi-reclined seating position, for use in single seaters and prototypes.

2 SIZES:

Orders must be submitted in written form. OMP is not responsible for delayed deliveriesand will not pay for consequent damages. All returned goods must be authorized by OMP,sent freight pre-paid and accompanied by regular invoice.
