LocationThe subject sites are located to the east of Fleetwood Road North close to Thornton on the Fylde peninsula in Lancashire. DescriptionThe site is previously undeveloped and extends to approximately 11.86 acres (4.8 hectares) in total. The main site comprises circa 10.87 acres (4.4 hectares) and the smaller plot 0.99 acres (0.4 hectares). There are a number of small waterways and ponds across the main site that may need relocation as part of some development schemes, as was envisaged by the previous food store planning consent. Alternatively, they may be incorporated into a scheme as an attractive set of features.
