Columbia, Missouri, in 1851 and
is now one of the largest private,
nonprofit colleges in the nation,

Experience one of the nation’s best college towns. Just three blocks from campus, you’ll
find yourself in the center of Columbia,
Missouri. Ranked as one of the nation’s
best college towns, Columbia is home to
three major colleges and around 30,000
students. Columbia has annual music
and film festivals, superb restaurants and
shops, plus thousands of acres of parks,
trails and outdoor opportunities nearby.
Follow your school to a conference championship.Our Cougar athletic squads compete in
the American Midwest Conference (AMC)
of the NAIA and regularly win conference
championships and make runs at National
Championships. As a student, you get
free entry to all basketball, softball,
soccer and volleyball games, most of
which are held right on campus. We
also have golf and indoor/outdoor track
teams and will add baseball in 2016.

We have 36 campuses nationwide plus a top-ranked online campus, offering
evening and online classes to students who want to earn a college degree
without putting their life on hold.
Evening and online classes
allow you to build a class schedule
that works around your other
commitments. You can even complete
your degree completely online.
Low-tuition costs
(that are below the national average for
four-year private and public institutions)
mean that you can earn an accredited
degree without breaking the bank. Financial
Aid may also be available to help you

Small class sizes
mean that you’ll get more attention and
support from your instructors, all of

Eight-week class sessions starting five times per year help you work toward your degree
quickly and steadily. This could be
as little as two years for an associate
degree or four for a bachelor’s degree.

1975 - Columbia College
starts offering evening classes
to adult learners at the Evening
Campus in Columbia, Missouri.
1970 - Christian Female
College transitions to a four-year
coeducational college and is
renamed as Columbia College.
1861 – The Civil War
begins. The college doesn’t
miss a single day of classes
throughout the war.
1973 – At the request of the
U.S. military, Columbia College
begins opening campuses on military
bases in order to provide degree
programs to military personnel.
2000 – Columbia College
launches its Online Campus,
offering online degree programs
to students across the globe.
1996 - Columbia College
starts offering graduate
degree programs.
2015 - Columbia College
opens its 36th nationwide
campus in Mesquite, Texas.
