OPENING DATE: 11/09/20171. The tenderer shall examine the site and surrounding at his own expenses and satisfy

himself.2. No Tender will be entertained without earnest money @ 2% of the estimated cost of

work, in the form of "CDR/Bank Draft/DDR/Bank's cheque/Cashier cheque/Pay order" infavour of Principal, GSPCT,Gujrat.

3. Thetenderer shall submit the original tender document complete in all respect.4. Tenders from firm/company would be accompanied with power of attorney and

partnership deed on a proper judicial paper and a photo copy of CNIC.5. No conditional tender will be entertained.6. The tenders from the blacklisted and suspended contractors from the approved list of

C&W/TEVTA will not be entertained.7. Any cutting/erasing/crossing (etc) appearing in the tender must be properly signed by

the person signing the tender. Moreover, all pages of the tender document must also beproperly signed. Offers with any over writing shall not be accepted.

8. The tender will be awarded to a tenderer whose total sum will be minimum (not itemwise).

9. If the successful tenderer refuses or fails for any reason to commence the work withinthe specified time (07 days[ the entire earnest money will be forfeited to Govt. as acompensation for such default.

10. Th~uccessful bidder will have to submit performance security @ 10% of the Bid moneyin shape of CDR/Bank Draft/DDR/Bank's cheque/Cashier cheque/Pay order prior to theissuance of work order. This performance guarantee will be released after six (06)months of completion of work i.e. date on which AR/SR committee issue the completioncertificate.

11. If the successful bidde~Jaiis to provide the performance security within seven days ofthe issuance of the letter, the AR/SR committee will decide to Re-tender/issue the workorder to the next competitor.

12. The work assigned to the contractor must be completed within stipulated time reckonedfrom the date of issuance of work order; the extension in the completion period couldbe allowed by AR/SR Committee under special circumstances, after the extension if hefails to complete his work within extended period, work order may be cancelled.

13. The minor alteration in scope of work and quantity of work can be made by AR/SRCommittee during the execution of work (if necessary).

14. The payment will be made to the contractor after completion of work ...
