Voldermort looked around him. What had happened? He thought this had been the end. He could remember the contempt on the face of most of the wizard population, the relief on his fellow Death-Eater’s face, but most of all, the peace he felt inside. He had had enough of trying to be something he wasn’t. Clearly, he had failed at life. Most of his life, he had been playing charades, games all designed to protect the boy who at this moment was probably celebrating, being surrounded by his loved ones. Harry Potter was no fool, Voldermort thought as he fell down. He was smarter than a lot of kids his age. He had clearly held on to the girl he loved. Voldermort had seen the look in Harry’s eyes, the one of love and longing. The same look had been reflected in the Weasley girl’s eyes, G-something. Honestly, he couldn’t care less at the moment. He was just glad that Harry had found someone to love and more importantly, someone who would love him back. That boy had gone through enough. Growing up without parents, then battling the Old Forces that had awoken. Now, though he couldn’t help but wonder where he was. As he fell, he tried looking for familiar landmarks. Nothing. He felt it in his bones- there was ancient magic surrounding him. There was no way this could be where the Muggles lived. It didn’t feel like the Wizard World either. As he looked around, a sudden thought struck him. It couldn’t be, could it? It was impossible, though? All the theories had been disproved ages ago.
