INTRODUCTION A diversified training program is needed to meet increasing demand for qualified and expert personnel in the academic area. This training is basically to enhance learning during the classroom sessions through improved participates of students. Teaching methodology concepts gives broad idea on different aspects of learner psychology and their expectations.
DATE AND VENUE
The TEQIP- Short Term Training Programme will be held during 23-27 December, 2013 at PG Seminar Hall, Government College of Engineering, Karad.
COURSE CONTENTS
Student psychology Classroom learning and its limitations Interactive learning Question based learning Adult learning and their expectations Alternative interaction possibilities Teaching resources Experts from different specializations will be delivering lectures in various sessions. Each session would be followed by interactive sessions on the subject matter.
ELIGIBILITY Faculty members from AICTE approved Engineering colleges, Polytechnics and Industries are eligible to attend the TEQIP-Short Term Training Programme.
REGISTRATION
Candidates should complete the enclosed registration form, and send it by mail/by post to the Coordinator. Confirmation of eligible candidates will be on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 40 candidates (Approx.). The completed registration forms should be received by the Coordinator by December 20, 2013.
REGISTRATION FEE
Faculty Participants : Rs. 2000/- Industry Participants : Rs. 3000/- Student Participants : Rs. 1000/- Traveling, Lodging, boarding and other expenses will have to be borne by the candidates. Accommodation will have to be managed by the participants only. However, the guidance will be provided for accommodation. The hotel tariff may range between Rs. 500/- to Rs. 4500/- per day. All the payments shall be made by Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Government College of Engineering, Karad payable at Karad.
FACULTY The teaching faculty constitutes experts from various academic institutes and our college.
LECTURE NOTES To fully realize the objectives of the course, the lecture notes will be made available at the time of registration in CD form.
ABOUT KARAD
Karad city is a historic place for tourism. This city is situated near the Pritisangam of famous rivers Koyana and Krishna. Koyana dam is about 60 kms from Karad where by hydroelectric projects major part of electricity is generated. The city is well connected by roads, rails and air route. The atmosphere of Karad in December is very pleasant. This place is 170 kms far from Pune and 70 kms from Kolhapur.
