50 Year Anniversary – Beach Buggy2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the beach buggy, a milestone in automotive history as a vehicle that has seen very little changes in all its years. Bruce Meyers was the fi rst to create a fi breglass body to sit on top of a Volkswagen Beetle fl oorpan back in 1964. With a ‘go anywhere’ attitude, these little cars started a craze and began popping up all over the world.Being a fi breglass body, some of the originals are still going strong today, but new changes are happening with Bruce Meyers creating the new Manxter 4 seater model and the Kick Out SS 2 seater.
