The language of encouragement and support for our children in sports and play will be prominent. Kia Kaha! Ākina te Reo! This is always a special event for us at Onerahi Primary School, but this one will be extra special as we welcome our new Deputy Principal Sean Moore and our new students. Nau mai, Haere mai. We will be sending out individual named envelopes at the beginning of next term. Could we please have these back at school tomorrow. Many of the children when asked have said “Oh yeah that’s at home”. They should be at school. Thanks. Ki O Rahi @ Onerahi Ki O Rahi @ Onerahi Ki O Rahi @ Onerahi Ki O Rahi @ Onerahi Kia Ora, Thank you SO much for attending the Ki O Rahi Matariki celebration on Sunday at Cresta Park in Raurimu Ave. It was an awesome day with a good turn-out. The ‘Ki O Rahi’ game looked fun and involved lots of team work and athletic prowess. Our Kapa Haka performance was superb and included our junior participants, who completed a whole set of senior waiata and haka! Tino pai! (Very good!) And another ‘shout out’ to the whanau and teachers who provided support to our tamariki and for organising a yummy kai. Kei reira! (Right on!) All three teams did very well. Congratulations to the “Spare Me” team of Nikau, Logan, Mystique and Nathan from room 17 who won the tournament. Yahoo!! The “Pin Ups” team of Mannasah, Ritihia, Kerrin and Anthony from R19 came third, while the “Snakes on a Lane” team of Hollie, Coby, Maz and Opel didn't place, but played extremely well. What a great effort everyone!

Northern Football Federation Holiday Programme: At Tikipunga Sports Park: 5 mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm. Monday 18th

to Friday 22nd of July. Parents can register their children from 1 to 5 days – a discount applies for 5 days.

We are a Christian camping organisation that has been running camps for 9-13 year olds (up to Yr8) for the past 25 years. We run our camps out at Marsden Bay Christian Camp located in One Tree Point.
