The Grand Old Manor House is gone. In 1988 a Manor House was built as a residence for Prince Abalfath Mahvi to enjoy after the Jalousie Planta-tion Resort project was finished. Prince Mahvi never ac-tually lived in the Manor House. Over the years it was barley used and became in need of extensive repair. Consideration was given to renovating the Manor House to be part of The Jalousie Enclave development. That renovation will never take place. Our transition plan just couldn’t find a place for the Manor House and so it was brought down. The site will be used for a all new and exciting 15,000 SF Club House, pools and Resturants.

Hope to see you there!

Master Plan in place!

Not that it’s unusual, but we have gone through several Mas-ter Plan exercises. Just ask Jerry Phulchere, our site Archi-tect in charge of our Master Plan. With the addition of EcoPlan, who is highlighted later in this newsletter, we have now final-ized our Master Plan. Great care has been taken to not dis-turb the land and vegetation during construction. Remember, Jalousie Enclave in what we have now is exactly what we were looking for. It took two years to find the exact sustain-able mix needed for this very exclusive, world class develop-ment in a World Heritage Site. All roads have been surveyed and cut and are ready for con-struction. Lots are being sur-veyed, pegged, and labeled.

SALES WITHOUT EVEN HAVING STARTED THE SALES EFFORTS?

Our total development will have 20 Villas and 52 Custom Home sites. Without launching our pro-ject yet, we have sold two Custom Home sites, and one 2 bedroom Villa. Three Villas site -- a 100,000 sq ft area -- next to one of our two in-land lakes, has been reserved by an investor who plans to build an exclusive restaurant and other facilities. We have also accepted an option to buy one lot, and it’s selection is underway to make the sale complete. While our start has been slow due to logistics, we have had sales!

DON’T MISS OUT MAKING YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR

A LOT OR VILLA

The DCA Final Approval for our development is only weeks away now. As the availability is quite limited (20 two bed-room, 2 ½ bath, living room, kitchen and pool, and 52 Sin-gle Family lots (“plots” for you across the Atlantic), only a select few will have the oppor-tunity to buy these freehold, full occupancy residences. But buyers should act now.

THE JALOUSIE ENCLAVE brings relief to Hospitals in Saint Lucia.

In 2008 Jalousie Enclave embarked on a mis-sion to re-equip it’s local hospital, St Judes, with desperately needed medical equipment and supplies. To date it has shipped three 40 foot containers with items from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. It is our commitment to continue this effort to bring needed items to the people of St Lucia. We have also initiated a program that will bring doctors from the Cleveland Clinic to St Lucia in a cooperative program giving assistance to St Judes. Willing hands offloading the materials.

Green Plans

The Jalousie Enclave will be the only secured, five star, residential community within Val Des Piton, on Jalousie Bay in St. Lucia. As the landscape architect, EcoPlan will balance creative design with ecological sensitivity, creating a community that reflects local materials, culture, and site conditions. EcoPlan’s philosophy focuses on designing a unique and authentic luxury residential community for The Jalousie Enclave with a look and feel different from any other development.

The Jalousie Enclave will further St. Lucia’s commitment to ecological preservation. EcoPlan will be designing landscaping that will complement the natural beauty of the natural environment. The island’s topography, ecology and culture are unique in the world and the mountainous nation is relatively unspoiled by development. The area where The Jalousie Enclave is located is a designated World Heritage Site (as determined by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organi-zation (UNESCO) in 2004) it is the only place in the world where buyers can pur-chase a home within a World Heritage Site.

“We are pleased that EcoPlan is working with us to bring The Jalousie En-clave to fruition. With the accomplished pro-fessionals of EcoPlan’s design team, we will preserve St. Lucia’s natural landscape and develop a visually stunning residential com-munity for our future residents,” said Pascal Mahvi. The Jalousie Plantation Resort, im-mediately below, is undergoing a major renovation at US$100,000,000 and being rebranded as a Tides on the Beach Resort. Residents are granted Deeded Access Rights to the resort’s “Forbiden Beach”.
