  • Program Description

WADVS - Ninety members and growing!

    Leading a Life of Character

This presentation, titled, “Leading a Life of Character,” focuses on why each person can be their best by leading themselves as a whole person with “character first.” Only then can they discover real significance and success in their own lives. In turn they will find that they can lead others with character first as well. So many leaders today get caught up in reading books, making lists (that supposedly contain secrets) and attending seminars that focus on the “soft skills” like leadership, teamwork, communication, etc., but in the end fail to focus on “character.” Character is the one attribute that each leader requires to lead their organi-zation from success to significance; from chaos to structure; and from a culture of self-entitlement to a cul-ture of trust, ownership and servant leadership. As a Dr. John C. Maxwell founding partner, trainer and coach, Dane endorses what John says, “There’s no such thing as business ethics - there’s only ethics.” Join Dane as he leads you on a multimedia journey of life and teaches you why ethics (or character as he likes to say) is the key to a healthy life that every leader needs to grow their family and organization from success to significance. Smile On!

GEMS FROM THE HEART: Seven Secrets How to Live a Joy-Filled Life Everyday!

Surviving isn’t enough to ensure happiness in today’s fast-paced world. Come learn how to truly thrive by turning the gems of life lessons into life growth! With her experiences with cancer, divorce, remarriage, and volunteerism, Mary engages the hearts and minds of her audiences in a unique, memorable manner. She encourages people to develop their personal potential for happiness, and life balance through humor and audience interaction. The program focuses on interpersonal development that helps healthcare volunteers work effectively with their peers, patients, families, and other staff. This keynote is guaranteed to give par-ticipants the strategies they need to work and live with joy, passion and enthusiasm!

DAZZLING I.M.A.G.E.S: Innovative Recruitment Strategies That Work!

If you need more auxilians in your program…if you need specialized volunteers…if you need individuals for those hard-to-fill shifts…this interactive seminar is for YOU! Come explore the I.M.A.G.E.S. of Strategic Re-cruitment to learn how to create a dazzling plan that works in this new age of volunteerism!

SCORES AND MORE: The Five Star Concept for Empowering Service Excellence!

How can volunteer administrators train others how to become the SERVICE HOSPITAL in their community where every customer is treated like family and where first class service is the norm rather than the excep-tion? It all starts with understanding and empowering healthcare service excellence that will positively im-pact and improve customer service scores! Improve your hospital’s scores and become Super Stars in your organization! This session teaches ways to be extraordinary in service excellence by empowering each per-son to be solutions-oriented. Learn how to both recognize who our customers are and what they want to exceed expectations…every time. Inspire others by sharing "success stories" and envision what you could do to change lives forever!
