In this presentation, we have used following:

Online Briefcase

It is an online central storage space provided to every bidder in its profile on e-

Tendering main portal.

A bidder would login from the main portal with its credentials and prepare this online

Briefcase by uploading soft copies of bid related documents / certificates in it.

Further, during Bid Preparation stage of a tender, a bidder would attach all the bid

related documents / certificates asked by the department to that bid by selecting those

from online briefcase only.

In other words, before going for Bid Preparation stage, a bidder should keep his

online briefcase ready by uploading all the required documents / certificates in it.

This online briefcase can be used for attaching bid related documents / certificates

simultaneously to multiple tenders of different departments on the portal.

How to Access an Online Briefcase

To access online briefcase, registered bidders

should login from the home page of

https://maharashtra.etenders.in (Parent Portal)with

their user ID and Password.

1. Login from the main portal by entering your User ID & Password.

2. Press ‘Go’

Click on ‘Briefcase’ option

To create space for a document, first, type name of the document, that you would like to upload in the briefcase, in ‘Document Description’.

After specifying the name, click On ‘Insert Document’ Button to create the space for the document.

Now, you can see, a space for a document

got created. Further, to upload the

document from your computer in the space created, click on ‘Select Doc’ button.

Click on ‘Browse’ Button

Select proper document from your machine.

Click On the ‘Open’ button

You will see the path of document here

Click On ‘Upload’ Button to upload the selected

document in the briefcase.

Once uploaded you will get this message.

You can delete a document by just clicking on X

Points to Remember

One can upload as many number of documents in the briefcase as

required.

Documents uploaded in the briefcase should be in PDF / JPEG format.

Size of a single document should not exceed 5 MB.

Documents much larger than 5 MB should be either compressed (using Win

Zip or Win RAR) or divided into smaller files and then uploaded.

Documents attached from briefcase into a bid during Bid Preparation stage

should not be modified or removed from briefcase until completion of Bid

Submission stage of that particular tender.

Upon completion of Bid Submission stage, one may modify or remove the

documents in the briefcase.

To view contents of any document uploaded in the briefcase, click on the name of that document. Upon clicking, browser will download and

subsequently open up the contents in a new tab.

To View Contents of a Document in the Online Briefcase

Here you can see contents of a document already uploaded in

the briefcase.

On this screen, as you can see, a bidder has uploaded 9 documents in his online briefcase. He can now attach these documents simultaneously with multiple tenders of any department on e-Tendering portal.
