• Chegg’s ® is the leading Educational Online Website worldwide• We only work on the Q&A Platform• This platform is essentially:

• Live question (4 hour max.) asked by the student• Tutor has up to (2 hour max.) to answer the student

• There is no interaction between the student and the tutor other than the answer per se.

Chegg’s ® Q&A Platform (Advantages)

• Tutors can review/look up for answers, no need to make the student wait• No need to speak/hear the student, this is all written• You have 2 hours per question• Questions can be skipped if not enough knowledge• In high peak season, questions are almost unlimited!• Only a single question per month is required in order to maintain your

credential active• Flexible, ideal for full time tutors and par time tutors as well

• High quality requirements• Contact is done via e-mail only• Sedentary job

Being a tutor: New Tutor

• This is a learning curve!• New tutors will

• Take longer time to answer• Require to study most of questions posted• Will not average large question number per hour• Payment per hour are low

• This typically takes between 4-6 weeks (full time)• Average “new tutors” will get approximate 3-5 USD per hour.• Rates per questions are typically low• They will not have high Bonus

Being a tutor: Regular tutor

• Once you get comfortable with:• Platform technicality functions• Skipping questions• Quality requirements• CF score of students

• You will be able to increase your question number• Expect more questions per hour, therefore, higher payment per hour• We expect most tutors to earn up to 8-10 USD per hour• Rate per questions are higher, due to higher question answered per month.• Bonus are included as well

Being a tutor: Expert/Priority tutors

• Becoming an expert tutor requires time… Typically more than 6 months• Full time tutors will work much more efficient than all other tutors• This is the 5% of tutors• They earn up at least 10-15 USD per hour.• Top tutors earn between 1000 USD up to 3000 USD in high peak seasons• These are the most committed tutors• Most tutors have lower Skip ratios, higher question per answer, and lower answer time.• These tutors have the highest rates per question.• BONUS for these type of tutors are higher, due to their commitment with the Team

Seasons on the platform

• Recall that this is a platform designed for students• Most students will go on vacations/holidays, the number of

questions drop drastically• In high peak season, there is virtually an unlimited amount of

questions online• In low peak seasons, there are limited, if any, questions online• Please take this into consideration with your:

• Vacation plans• Income expectations

• High Peak Season is essentially between:• Mid August – Mid December• Mid January – Mid May

• Questions are found most of the time• There are plenty of questions online

Seasons on the platform (Low Peak Season)

• Questions are hard to found if any

• If there are questions online, they might be low, so avoid skiping questions!

• Typically, you will get a warning on “no more questions on queue”

Getting Paid

• Payments are done according to:• Your “flat rate” • Your “quantity rate”• Quantity “Bonus”• Season “Bonus”, if any…

• Total payment is sent via invoice• Payments are done as quick as 25 days after the end of the month.• Priority tutors get paid as soon as we get the money (10-15 days)
