NURSING PROGRAMS IVCC offers an Associates degree in Nursing (RN) and a Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)

STANDBY LIST

Students who apply and who meet the minimum requirements but are not admitted are added to a Standby requirements but are not admitted are added to a Standby List If an opening occurs, students are offered admission to the p gprogram based on their Standby List numberIf you apply for both the RN and the LPN programs and you are admitted to the program that is not your you are admitted to the program that is not your preference, you will be placed on the Standby List for your preferred program

by the point of graduation will not be allowed to take the National Council of Licensure Examination (NCLEX) or graduate

PLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS Placement testing is required in English, Reading and Mathematics (unless you have completed or transferred in the appropriate courses from another transferred in the appropriate courses from another college or university)

CNA COMPLETION If your CNA certification is older than three years at the time of

Students who have not worked 1020 hours in the last three years and are listed on the CNA registry can take the CNA refresher g ycourse (ALH 1215 must be completed by Spring semester prior to first nursing course)

Students who have not worked 1020 hours in the last 3 years and Students who have not worked 1020 hours in the last 3 years and are not located on the CNA registry must retake the CNA course (ALH 1214)
