The Board of Management consists of computer professionals, technocrats, doctors, social activists and academicians

Oneness International School (OIS) has opened the gates of its campus in March 2012 to its first co-educational intake of students. It reflects the culture and environment of INDIA, a country that respects diversity. Located at Khurda, 22 kilometers south of the heart of Bhubaneswar, the School is being constructed on more than six-acre campus that is conducive to the students' learning and development process. In the opening year of 2012, admissions have opened for play group till Standard 6. The School will gradually grow to its full enrollment of 1400 students across Play Group – XII. From the outset, full-boarding facilities will be available so that the school can cater to all types of students – day, week and full boarding. Air-conditioned buses provide transportation to and from all prominent localities.

We consider all our children gifted and blessed. OIS provides on-going professional development to staff, students, teachers

and interns, under the enlightening guidance of our living god Sri Amma Bhagavan.

We believe that creating conditions in which all the children are prepared to learn and succeed in a multicultural community

Campus: The verdant, beautiful campus of Oneness International School (OIS) is located just 30 minutes from the heart of Bhubaneswar City on NH-5 towards Khurda and just 5 minutes from the New Bus Stand (Khurda). It's located close to the Indo Tibetan Boarder Police Force on National Highway 224.

The campus has been modeled to facilitate the finest educational services and enhance all-round development of children. It would provide teaching that relies on Indian culture but in the best physical environment and infrastructure. THE RESIDENCES

The boys and girls residences at OIS are homes away from home. Students spend as much time at the residences as they spend at study or co-curricular activity, and hence set up a link as well as a routine in the way they 'live' at school. At OIS there are 3 categories of boarders:

Day Boarders

Under the day boarding concept, the children will have their breakfast, lunch and evening snacks at school. They will reach campus in the morning and leave only by evening after completing their studies, homework, sports, activities and other developmental programs. This would ensure that at the end of the day, the child can spend good quality time with parents and family members, and share his daily experiences.

Weekly Boarders

The weekly boarders are those students who stay full week from Sunday evening to Friday evening at in the students' hostels.

Full Boarders

The Full Boarders are those students who stay full time at the students' residence.

Every hostel has House Parents in charge of the functioning, the administration and the discipline of the hostel. Students deal with their house parents in the way they treat their parents; interacting with them, reporting to them, constantly seeking their advice and guidance. House Parents have the caliber and patience to assist students through their educational journey.

The residences have comfortable, air conditioned rooms, with 24 hrs uninterrupted electricity supply, laundry, round the clock security of the buildings, TV, telephone, computer and internet connections and access to the first-aid.

Extra Curricular Activities

In today's competitive world a child has to be expert in multifarious activities besides academics with an overall development in his/her personality and other aptitudes. For this, different facilities like

Transportation:

The School has its own fleet of Air-Conditioned buses. The buses are fitted with LCD projectors to display various educational CDs in order to develop the outlook & other skills of the students during their journey from home to school and back. Each bus has a driver, conductor who is provided with mobile phone for the easy access of the parents along with complete safety and security of the children.

The school shall have its own fleet of buses to pick students from any destination from Khorda, Jatani, Banki, Nayagarah and Bhubaneshwar.

Provision is made for students to watch educational videos or channels like National Geographic, Discovery or cartoons while traveling to-and-fro the campus.

Health and Hygiene:

At OIS, health and hygiene of the students is given supreme importance. This is ensured by implementing the following measures:

Medical:

The school has in house doctor facility to look after the medical needs of the students. In addition to this, the school organizes health checkups in regular intervals to safeguard the health of all the students. Round the clock facilities of Nurse available for the hostel boarders.

School Uniform

School uniform enhances equality among students. Moreover it is an identity of the school. Therefore wearing of uniform is compulsory for students.

Academic Year

The academic session begins from April and continues up to March.

School Timings

A typical day may begin by 8:30 a.m. and end by 4:30 p.m. This would include the time set in sports and activities.

Registration & AdmissionndRegistration starts from 2 February. Parents desirous of getting their wards admitted should fill the registration form and

deposit at Oneness office.

Oneness International School offers admissions to Preschool, Std. I to VIII subject to the availability of seats and eligibility.

Obtaining the application form

Parents who wish to apply for admission should obtain the brochure and application form on payment of Rs.450/-. This can be rendered in cash or demand draft drawn in favor of Oneness International School, payable at Bhubaneswar. The application form can be down loaded from the net and apply through the net. (With a nonrefundable fee of Rs 450/-)

Criteria for submission of application form

The duly completed application form must be submitted in the School Office on or before the stipulated date. The following documents should accompany the form: Certified copy of School Report of the previous academic year (if applicable).

Two passport size photographs and two stamp size photographs of the student. Parents One Each Photograph.

One certified copy of Child's Birth Certificate.

One certified copy each of details including dates and grades of any Public/Board Examinations already taken (if applicable).

Copy of the T.C. (If possible).

Original documents of the submitted photocopies should be made available upon request for verification.

The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission to the school.

Age criteria for application of admission

Children have to meet the stipulated age requirement for admission to Oneness International School as on March 1st of that year. The required age limit for each grade is mentioned in the table. The stipulated age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admission Committee based on past academic achievements and performance in our testing procedures, provided the student has graduated from a recognized school.

Admission test and interaction

Admission to Oneness International is through an interaction. The admission test will be conducted at school campus and parents will be intimated of the date and time.

Admission Lists

The outcome of the admission will be conveyed to the parents after the interaction. The names of the selected candidates will also be displayed in the school office. The decision of the School Admission Committee will be final and binding and no further discussions will be entertained.

Confirmation of admission

On receipt of acceptance of admission, parents have to pay the fees within the stipulated date. The original documents should also be submitted:

Residential students are required to submit the following additional documents

a) Fitness Certificate b) Medical History c) Blood Group Report d) Undertakings and agreement signed by parents

Miscellaneous

In the School/hostel only vegetarian food will be served.

The school will not be liable for any expenditure incurred on account of illness/injuries sustained by the child during his or her stay at the school.

Mode of payment

In the form of cash/D.D drawn in favor Oneness International School payable at Bhubaneswar, no out station cheques will be accepted.
