    FOOD LOCKERWhat is it?

    The Food Locker is operated by volun teers and is meant to assist military

    families aboard Miramar. Services includ e: Free bread, groceries until

    payday, and free FDA comm odities.

    Am I eligible?Services are available to all Active Duty, Reservists, and th eir depend ents.

    FDA Commodities are income restricted (Most Enlisted personn el app ly).

    Groceries until payd ay requ ires a referral from the FRO or an E-7 or above.

    Who do I contact for more informat ion?The Food Locker is located on MCAS Miramar in Build ing 6013 off

    Gonsalves Avenu e. They are open from 0900-1600 Monday-Thursday.

    What is it?San Diego Military Outreach Ministries (SDMOM) is a commu nity supported faith-

    based charity that reaches out to youn g enlisted families in San Diego with a broadrange of helping services. Their services include:

    This service is for E-5 and below. The warehouse is located at Mar ine Corps Air Station

    at Miramar East (Camp Elliott) on Kearny Villa Road about on e mile north of Highway

    52. Once past the sentries, continue for abou t 1 1/ 2 miles to the fire station. Turn r ight

    into the large parking lot just p ast the fire station and look for our banner on the long

    warehouse behind the fire station.

    Provides furniture, household app liances, dish packs and flatw are, children's

    clothing, baby food and diapers. Everything is free. Hour s of operation are Monday,

    Wednesday, and Friday from 1200-1500.
