Our Adult Golf Lessons are going well and we’ll continue soon once the weather picks up. NA TITHE GLOINEBareroot Tree Planting, 10am Friday the 21st of February: This workshop will give you a chance to learn about and gain practical hands-on experience in bareroot tree planting. Cheaper than potted plants, bareroot is an economical way to purchase trees, bushes, and garden shrubs. Whether you wish to plant a forest or orchard, to create a windbreak or hedge, or just add a few roses to your garden, bareroot is the way to go. The workshop will offer advice on choosing plants and where to buy them. You will gain a practical knowledge of how to handle temporary storage, and will get hands-on experience planting them in situ, along with advice on how best to give them a helping start once they are in the ground. Much of the workshop will take place outdoors so please wear appropriate shoes and clothing. This course is supported by the ETB, costs €10 per person. Your PPSN is required.
