Easily slide stops on to wires with the Stop Kit Placement System™ from OrthoQuest. Each Stop Kit Placement System™ includes Micro Stix, an applicator with a light adhesive tip that picks up and holds a stop. Simply touch the tip of a Micro Stix to the flat side of a stop, then thread the wire through the stop. When placement is secure, pull away the stick. Stops can be placed on wires faster and more easily with Micro Stix than with an instrument.

SCORE™ Crimpable Stops with Assembly are an excellent alternative to pre-stopped wires. Crimpable stops are fitted into an assembly that is used to thread the wire. Grasp the assembly between thumb and forefinger and slide into place. Leave the assembly in place while inserting the wire. When wire is ligated, gently tug at assembly to release, discard, and crimp the stop. Small stops fit wire sizes 012 to 018. Large stops fit wire sizes 014 x 025 to 019 x 025, and square wire up to 020 x 020. 10 stops per box

Retain-It is a flat, braided wire that can be bonded to the lingual of the lower arch to form a permanent or semi-permanent retainer for the retention of tooth position after treatment. It is aesthetic and unobtrusive and requires no patient cooperation to be effective.

Retain-It is 302SS wire fully annealed to allow for intricate formation. It is extremely ductile, comparing to 8-braid retainer wires. Thin, flat wire is .010x.028. Made in USA.

Stop Locks and Stop Locks Wrench

Stop Locks continue to be a secure technique for archwire locking. Use a stop lock to prevent archwire from sliding out of buccal tube. The stop lock base is made of SS303 material, with .022 slot. It slides easily over the archwire and is held firmly by the nut, made of 316L material, with the twist of the wrench. Provides a stop for compression spring treatment.
