Education and training at the Tavistock and Portman is distinctive. We are one of very few providers in the UK that can offer education within an NHS mental health clinical setting seeing over 12,000 patients a year. All of our courses are carefully developed and delivered by practicing experts. This ensures that the education you receive is relevant and up to date. Since our inception we have endevoured to put our clinical learnings into research that is shared internationally.

Figures taken from our 2018 Annual Student Survey show that 93% of students said that they “found the course stimulating.”

We are delighted to offer accessible, flexible and personalised education and training to those of varying levels.

“The weekly infant observations and seminar discussion groups which are central to the course have inevitably changed the way that i think about my clinical work with patients and my life in general” Helen Roberts M7 student
