Open position ELECTRONICS ENGINEER INSTRUMENTATION FOR HIGH-EFFICIENCY PHOTOVOLTAIC DEVICES Instituto de Energía Solar - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid ETSI Telecomunicaciones, Avda. Complutense, 30. 28040 Madrid (Spain) The Instruments and Systems Integration group of the Solar Energy Institute (https ://www.ies.upm.es/Investigacion/IES_GI/ISI) is looking for a highly motivated research engineer to work in a multi-disciplinary project, funded by the European Commission within the H2020 program, in collaboration with other European research centers as well as the industry. The project aims at the industrial scale demonstration of high efficiency solar modules (>30% under direct sunlight) based on a disruptive planar optical micro-tracking technology, which concentrates sunlight on multijunction solar cells, mounted on top of conventional silicon cells. www.ies.upm.es SCOPE The work will be focused on the design and development of test equipment for the characterization of high efficiency photovoltaic devices. The main objective is to develop a quality control equipment for the next generation of photovoltaic modules with distinct capture of direct and diffuse sunlight.
