Project Scope
Open Space at Kin Wan Street
1. a standard basketball court with floodlighting;
2. fitness stations together with fitness equipment suitable for use by elderly
3. children’s play area;
4. seating areas with pavilions and rain shelters;
5. ancillary facilities including toilet facilities, a babycare room, a park office, a general store room, vending machines and drinking fountains, , park lighting, and a loading and unloading area;
Upgrading of the Waterfront Promenade
1. adding features of interest at entrances, providing attractive garden furniture, fitness stations and fitness equipment suitable for the elderly, and footpaths linking adjacent commercial and residential sites;
2. landscaped areas suitable for photo taking;
3. improving the existing drainage system;
4. providing entrances to enhance accessibility to the waterfront promenade and the open space at Kin Wan Street; and
5. carrying out beautification at the surface of existing Cooling Water Intake Area.
