A sport that is not for the faint hearted but for the brave. For on those fiery circuits, tanned with burnt rubber from the constant friction of high RPMs, the weak will perish. But the brave will survive; on the race battlefield where, SKILL and SPEED reign Supreme. With high class sport car manufacturers battling it out for dominance, there is a lot at stake including technological innovation, engineering advancement supremacy and a lot of money. It finally comes down to the race team manager’s ability to steer his team and ultimately the auto car manufacturer , to Victory, in this high class racing event. F1 World Championship being an all year event, with some months packed with as much as 3-4 races, the team managers are faced with the challenging tasks of analyzing all the information available (circuit info., weather info., changing race rules, team readiness/ availability, vehicle health/ availability, rival info. etc.) and making critical decisions (how do we secure pole position, what specific strategies do I use for which specific qualifier and race, how do I fine tune the parameters to ensure my team’s readiness for every race etc) All of which has to be done in double quick time.
