OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR Safilo Bio

GETTING STARTED

INSTALLATION:

• Ozone Electronic Safe is designed to help you protect your valuables against theft.

• You should BOLT the Safe inside a furniture piece like cupboard, to the wall or floor

and keep the codes/keys at a Safe & secret place for paramount security.

On Receipt of New SafeInserting Battery• On receipt of the Safe, first open the Safe with keys• Insert the 4 x 1.5 V Batteries (AA Type) inside the battery compartment• Remove the cover and insert the batteries. Next, close the battery compartment. • Now enter the Factory set user code 1234 (Change the user code as soon as Safe is

received for security reasons)

Four Modes of Operating Safilo Bio:A) USER CODE• Ozone Electronic Biometric Safe come with Factory Set USER code is 1234 for your security.• You may open the Safe with the attached emergency key • Place the batteries and set your own user code of 1 to 8 digits, press “#”, the display

will show “CLOSED”

Steps to open with User Code:• To open the Safe using factory code, Press“ # ” and enter factory code (1234). • Press “ # ” again. The Safe will open with a display showing 'OPENED'.• To hide the User Code, press “ * “ before entering the user code. Your code will remain hidden

B) FINGER PRINT• In open position, press Green Colour Reset Button provided on the backside of the

door. A short beep will be heard & LED screen will display “FINGER”• Please input your finger print on the window till one short beep is heard. LED will

display “AGAIN”. Now repeat the same process.• LED screen will display “DONE XX”. The finger print is now registered successfully.

*Note:You can register 29 finger prints. If the fingerprint is full, five beeps will be heard which means there is no spare capacity and fingerprints can no more be registered. LED screen will display “FP-FUL”. To clear fingerprints, press Green Button provided on the back side of the door for 3 seconds. LED screen will display “FP-CLE”.

C) FINGER PRINT & CODE• In open position, press Red Colour Reset Button provided on the backside of the door

for 3 seconds. The LED screen will display “F-or-C”. This is the mode to use user code or finger print.

EMERGENCY KEYSFor First use/receipt of the Safe or when the Electronic code is unknown, you could still open the Safe with the help of emergency key provided by the company.

KEEP THE EMERGENCY KEY IN THE SECURE AND PROTECTED PLACE BUT NOT INSIDE THE SAFE ITSELF.The Safe can be opened using the emergency keys provided along with the Safe. Remove the round cover placed right hand side of the panel. Find the emergency keys from the plastic bag and fully insert into the lock key hole.

Turn the emergency key anti-clockwise to a positive stop. Hold the key in clockwise position & the Safe will open.

Note: Duplication of the emergency key is not available keeping your total security in mind so it is advised to keep emergency keys at a protected place. In case the emergency keys are lost or get damaged, please contact your local locksmith.

To Open the Safe

A) To Open the Safe by User Code• Touch the panel to activate the display screen, it will show “_” & the light of the keypad

goes on.• Enter your 1-8 digits user code and then press “#” to confirm. The LED screen will display

“OPEN”. The door will now open

B) To Open the Safe by Finger Print• Touch the panel to activate the display screen, it will show “_” & the light of the keypad

goes on.• Input your fingerprint and enter user code or vice-versa. In case you are using this

method for first time, LED screen will display “Cright” or “Fright”. Now again input fingerprint & user code, the LED screen will display “OPEN”.The door is now open for your use.

TO CLOSE THE SAFE:• Close the door and put your finger print on scanner or press “#”. LED screen will display

“CLOSE”. The Safe door is now closed.• If you open the Safe by emergency key, then you should close the door by emergency

key only.

ALARM SYSTEM• In closed position, touch the keypad panel to activate the system and press button “#”

before entering user code. LED screen wil display “eE-on” & the system will automatically go into alert state.

• Input of three wrong user codes or finger print can put the Safe into secure mode for 20 seconds and the system will go into alarming mode.

• In case of hampering, the alarm gets activated for 20 seconds.• To stop alarm system, enter the correct code or input the registered finger print.
