Operations Account Specialist – WALMART: Overview of Roles and Responsibilities The Operations Account Specialist (OAS) is an important Field Operations function within the Match Converge organization, reporting to the Regional Field Operations Director. Key responsibilities include: training of new merchandisers, executing test sets with clients and/or with Converge Sales/ Client Service/Field Operations personnel to ensure proper scoping and set up of new projects, helping to build training documents, participation in field training sessions, interaction and follow up with field merchandisers, and partnering with Area Managers and Region Directors to achieve high quality standards and on-time completion of merchandising projects. The OAS position reports directly to their Region Director; however, you will also work with all Match Converge cross-functional departments interfacing including Area Managers, Client Services, Sales, Payroll, our Retail Support Center and management team. The OAS for the South Region will be based out of the Rogers/Bentonville AR area, and will have at least 5 years of merchandising / training / retail expertise with Walmart. Duties and Responsibilities Conducts field trainings, audits, and works with field merchandiser personnel or teams to ensure they are properly trained to complete projects with quality and per budgeted time estimates. Take notes, identifies most efficient / effective way of conducting the work in-store per project scope, works closely with store personnel and takes photos to be provided to the Field and Client Service teams for use in training/ instruction / sales documents. Provides Regional Director, Area Managers, and Client Services with findings, learnings, store personnel comments and photos from in-store merchandising work to ensure full understanding of live project in field scope of work. (Each project – prior to finalizing instruction documents) Leads successful Time & Motion studies. Assist CSM in drafting training guide and materials. Troubleshoot and test upcoming projects to ensure merchandisers can execute properly to time estimate. (Each Project) Conducts training calls with key field personnel to ensure they are educated on all project instructions / certifications needed to execute projects on time with quality and with client satisfaction. Helps build efficient, well designed programs that can be executed properly at retail by our national field organization. Works closely with our VP of Sales for Walmart to identify new business opportunities based on retail intelligence and your knowledge of where our services could make a positive impact. Provide feedback on what other merchandising service providers are doing at Walmart, and advising on how we can better compete/success with sales and merchandiser job satisfaction Provides expertise on Walmart and other retail/brand accounts in the Southern Region.
