Infancia y adolescencia:oportunidades y retos en el uso de las nuevas tecnologías.
En el marco de las actuaciones a desarrollar con motivo de la PresidenciaEspañola de la Unión Europea, la celebración de la reunión semestral delGrupo Intergubernamental “L’Europe de l´Enfance” representa una magníficaoportunidad para compartir experiencias y definir la situación de las políticasde infancia y adolescencia a nivel europeo.
La sesión abordará el tema de las Tecnologías de la Información y laComunicación (TIC), con especial incidencia en las oportunidades y nuevosriesgos para la infancia, así como su abordaje en el contexto europeo.Evidentemente se trata de un fenómeno de dimensión internacional que haexperimentado grandes avances y cuyo desarrollo futuro es difícil de pronosticar.Por otra parte, goza de excelente aceptación en el ámbito de los más jóvenesy esta condición reporta un sinfín de retos y oportunidades para los niños ylos adolescentes en el ámbito de su educación, así como para la promociónde sus derechos y para el fomento de las relaciones interpersonales.
La experiencia acumulada por los ponentes y participantes convocados a estareunión, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, permitirá identificar fortalezas,así como las debilidades que se pueden presentar por el uso indebido o ilícitode la Red. El intercambio de buenas prácticas en esta materia constituye unavaliosa herramienta dirigida a orientar la intervención pública en defensa delos derechos de la infancia.

Within the activities to be developed during the Spanish Presidency of theEuropean Union, the holding of the six-monthly meeting of the IntergovernmentalGroup “L’Europe de l´Enfance” represents a magnificent opportunity to shareexperiences and define the situation of the childhood and adolescence policiesat a European level.
The session will treat the subject of Information Technologies andCommunication, with a special incidence in the opportunities and new risksfor childhood, together with its tackling in the European context. Obviously,it is a phenomenon with an international dimension, which has experiencedgreat advances, and whose future development is difficult to foresee. On theother hand, it is excellently accepted among the youngest, and this conditionbrings endless challenges and opportunities for children and adolescentswithin the area of their education, and for the promotion of their rights and ofinterpersonal relationships.
The experience accumulated by the lecturers and attendants called to thismeeting, both nationally and internationally, will allow to identify the strengthsand weaknesses that may arise from the undue or illicit use of the Network.The exchange of good practices in this subject is a valuable tool for guidingthe public intervention in defense of the childhood rights.

Enfance et adolescence:opportunités et défis dans l’emploi des nouvelles technologies.
Dans le cadre des actions à développer à l’occasion de la Présidence Espagnolede l’Union Européenne, la célébration de la réunion semestrielle du GroupeIntergouvernemental “L’Europe de l'Enfance” représente une grande opportunitéde partager des expériences et de définir la situation des politiques concernantles enfants et les adolescents à l’échelle européenne.
La session abordera le sujet des Technologies de l’Information et laCommunication (TIC), en insistant particulièrement sur les opportunités et lesnouveaux risques pour l’enfance, ainsi que sur son approche dans le contexteeuropéen. Il s’agit évidemment d’un phénomène aux dimensions internationalesqui a fait preuve de grands progrès et dont le développement à venir estdifficile à prévoir. D’autre part, ces technologies jouissent d’une grandeacceptation parmi les jeunes, et cela implique d’innombrables défis etopportunités pour les enfants et les adolescents dans le domaine de leuréducation, ainsi que pour la promotion de leurs droits et pour encourager lesrelations interpersonnelles.
L’expérience fournie par les conférenciers et les assistants convoqués à cetteréunion, aussi bien à l’échelle nationale qu’internationale, permettra d’identifierles points forts et les faiblesses présentées par l’usage indu ou illicite de laToile. L’échange de bonnes pratiques dans ce domaine constitue un outilprécieux adressé à orienter l’intervention publique en défense des droits del’enfance.
