1.       HSDPA optimization

è Below are change to be done to further improve HSDPA Mean Ch Tput. Please get it executed next Monday (CW04)

ü  Modify HSPDSCHCODENUM from 3 to 5 and HSSCCHCODENUM from 4 to 3, while ALLOCCODEMODE still Manual (MOD UCELLHSDPA)

à Please modify for all Gladiator 3G cells. Please refer to attached updated site list (“GladiatorSiteList v1.rar”)

ü  Modify AF to 100% for Iub BW >= 21 Mbps

à As I checked from Capacity team’s data, there are 3804 sites with Iub BW >=21 Mbps in Gladiator site list. Please refer to attached Excel file (“Gladiator Iub 21 Mbps.xls”) for site list and refer to attached script (“AF Change.txt”) for creating new FTI with Activity Factor (AF) 100% for HSDPA, HSUPA, PS DL, PS UL. Please choose any vacant FTI index in latest CFGMML of each RNC and replace the xx. Next is to modify site’s FTI to use this new FTI (MOD ADJMAP).

HSDPA optimization part has been completed, now please implement modification on HOASUTMR. We have tried this before in this network to reduce drop call due to SRB reset (mainly).

è As I checked for 21 Huawei RNC involved in Gladiator, in below 13 RNCs we need to apply similar PS BLER quality target change (from 1% to 10%) as last time in Pilot Drive & City Based Drive. Purpose is to reduce UE output power during outer loop power control. Please refer to attached script ( “BLER Target Change.txt”) and get it executed by this week (CW03).
