Encouraging Lifelong Healthy Habits Drug-free Workplace Testing We understand that a healthy, productive workforce begins with a drug-free workplace. Our comprehensive menu of regulated and non-regulated, laboratory-based tests as well as rapid test options are designed to meet the needs of most workplace testing programs. Drug testing options include urine, oral fluid, hair, and blood. Rapid Tests Our rapid drug screening tests may help to increase productivity by reducing time to hire. Rapid Tests provide on-site screening for drugs of abuse, urine specimen validity, and saliva alcohol, following chain-of-custody protocol. For convenience and accessibility, multiple rapid test options are available in many of LabCorp’s patient service centers (PSCs) nationwide, also offering an electronic chain-of-custody process.* For employers who choose to perform the tests in their own facilities, a variety of rapid testing products are available. Our certified laboratories offer confirmation testing for nonnegative rapid test drug screens. Employee Health and Safety Assessments Our employee health assessment programs are designed to complement employee wellness initiatives and offer on-site workplace events and remote screenings that can include a blood collection for a comprehensive health panel, biometric screening, nicotine screening, employee wellness education, health coaching, and support services. For employees who cannot attend an on-site screening event, LabCorp provides biometric screening through select company- owned and operated PSCs. LabCorp’s biometric screening includes height, weight, blood pressure, waist circumference, body mass index (BMI), and blood draw for wellness screening. For employees who do not have access to these two options, LabCorp offers a collect at home kit. Our Lab-in-an-Envelope® program is a cost-effective alternative when access to phlebotomy services may not be an option. Lab-in-an-Envelope® Lab-in-an-Envelope uses dried blood spot specimens that the employee collects at home. Each Lab-in-an-Envelope kit contains all the items required to collect, prepare, and mail the dried blood specimen to the laboratory via US mail. Test options include: total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, estimated average glucose (eAG), hemoglobin A1C, prostate specific antigen (PSA), and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH).
