Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)

Page 2: Oracle Database Appliance

HistoryThe Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) was first introduced in 2011 targeting mid-market customers. The ODA was smaller than an Oracle Exadata, had less storage, memory and CPUs, and was sold at a fraction of the price of an Exadata. Since then Oracle announced the X3-2 in 2013, X4-2 in 2014, X5-2 in 2015 and most recently the X6-2 in 2016.
