EssbasePlus

Essbase Plus is the leading online analytical processing (OLAP) serveravailable today. Essbase Plus provides an environment for rapidlydeveloping custom analytic and enterprise performance management(EPM) applications that is managed by business users. Engineered forscalability, security, and rapid-response, Essbase Plus brings analyticsto the business user and enables the business to quickly model complexbusiness scenarios. Through an intuitive interface, business users canmanipulate large data sets to model complex scenarios, forecastoutcomes, and perform what-if analyses to identify trends and optimizebusiness results. Together with other modules, Essbase Plus offersbroad support for demanding business intelligence analyticsrequirements.

With Hyperion Planning Plus, you can meet yourimmediate financial planning needs while enabling a platform forfuture cross-functional expansion and automated processintegration.


l WebLogic Server Standard Edition may only be used to hostJ2EE or Java application logic that is distributed as part ofHyperion Planning Plus.

l This restricted-use license of WebLogic Server Standard Editiondoes not support HTTP Session or Servlet clustering functionalitywithin WebLogic Server (as WebLogic Server Standard Editiondoes not include clustering). l Hyperion Planning Plus is a prerequisite for Hyperion PublicSector Planning and Budgeting and includes restricted-useOracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition (restricted to use withHyperion Planning Plus as the only target). When HyperionPlanning Plus and Hyperion Public Sector Planning are licensedtogether, Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition may be usedto both move data into Hyperion Planning Plus and write theupdated data back to the original ERP source. For any otherdata movement requirements, full-use licenses of Oracle DataIntegrator Enterprise Edition are required.


l Hyperion Enterprise Planning Suite must be licensedseparately.

2. Hyperion product option license quantities must match the number of licenses of theassociated Hyperion product. This rule applies to all license models: Component, CustomerApplication Suite, and Enterprise. Examples include the following:

3. Authorized use of DRM APIs: Data Relationship Management Web Services APIs areavailable to Oracle Data Relationship Steward or Oracle Data Relationship Governancelicensed users who have been provisioned with an appropriate role in one or more DataRelationship Management applications. Individual licensed users must be used whenperforming API operations which modify data in a Data Relationship Managementapplication. Proxy users with an Oracle Data Relationship Steward license are *not*permitted to perform create, update or delete operations in real-time or in batch using theDRM API or DRM Batch Client.

Proxy users are permitted to use the DRM Request API. This API offers the ability to createand update requests which would be used by external workflow applications to persistpending changes to DRM. Proxy users may *not* be used to commit changes to DRM thatwere approved via an external workflow. Final approvers or committers must be licensedOracle Data Relationship Steward users with user roles authorized to interactively makechanges within DRM to ensure audit integrity.

Similarly, a proxy user with the Governance User role may be used to programmaticallysubmit changes from external systems into the Oracle Data Relationship Governanceapplication. Further, proxy users may also invoke the DRM API/web services via theAnonymous User role provided one has licensed the Oracle Data Relationship ManagementRead Only Access option. In addition to enabling public browse access to specific targetaudiences, this license authorizes read access using the DRM web services API.
