CYDECTIN has shownefficacy against a number of ivermectin resistant strains of H. contortus and Ostertagia spp.However, as CYDECTIN® shares a similar mechanism of action to the avermectins, it SHOULD NOT beused where avermectin resistance is present, except where specifically recommended by an advisor.RESISTANCE AND WORM CONTROL PROGRAMSIt is advisable that a drench resistance test be conducted before any drench is used.Resistance may develop to any drench.Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health advisor for recommended parasite managementpractices for your area.SELENIUM DEFICIENCYTo control white muscle disease in lambs, pregnant ewes should be treated monthly before lambing. Lambsshould be treated either orally or with a selenium fortified vaccine at marking. CYDECTIN® Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium is a second generation macrocyclic lactone endectocide which is effective against internal and external parasites sensitive to this familyincluding the following parasites of sheep. CYDECTIN Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium is effective against benzimidazole andlevamisole resistant strains of H. contortus, T. colubriformis and O. circumcincta. CYDECTINhas shown efficacy against a number of ivermectin resistant strains of H. contortus andOstertagia spp.However, as CYDECTIN shares a similar mechanism of action to the avermectins, it SHOULDNOT be used where avermectin resistance is present, except where specifically recommendedby an advisor.RESISTANCE AND WORM CONTROL PROGRAMSIt is advisable that a drench resistance test be conducted before any drench is used.Resistance may develop to any drench.Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health advisor for recommended parasitemanagement practices for your area.SELENIUM DEFICIENCYTo control white muscle disease in lambs, pregnant ewes should be treated monthly beforelambing. Lambs should be treated either orally or with a selenium fortified vaccine at marking.On properties where selenium responsive ill-thrift or selenium responsive scouring have beendiagnosed, treat lambs at marking and again 2 months later.DIRECTIONS FOR USERESTRAINTDO NOT USE in female sheep which are producing, or may in the future produce, milk ormilk products for human consumption.This product should not be used when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium isprovided by other means (such as pasture top dressing, vaccine, pellets or seleniumdrenches) if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can determine seleniumstatus by consulting their veterinarian.CYDECTIN Se ORAL DRENCH FOR SHEEP with selenium is ready to use. Administer 1 mL per 5kg liveweight using any standard drenching equipment. Check dose rates and equipment beforedrenching commences.Do not add copper salts or additional selenium to this drench.The product may start to form crystals below 4˚C. Before usage under these circumstances, it isadvisable to mix the product by inverting the drum 3 times.DOSE RATE:1 mL/5 kg liveweight to give a dose of 0.2 mg moxidectin/kg and 0.1 mg selenium/kgliveweight.DOSAGE GUIDE

Store cleaned container in a sheltered place with cap removed. It willthen be acceptable for recycling at any drumMUSTER collection or similar containermanagement program site.
