Orchid International’s McAllen facility was opened in1995 to produce electric motor components for GeneralElectric’s HVAC motor manufacturing operations inMexico. Presently the facility produces electric motorlaminations as well as finished rotors and stators forRegal Beloit (formerly GE), Emerson Electric, and othermanufacturers located in northern and central Mexico.

Orchid provides complete finished rotors and statorsincluding scroll slitting, lamination stamping, automat-ed interlocking, programmable stack heights, rotor diecasting, annealing, welding, and high-tolerance finish-ing. In addition Orchid can provide a variety of lami-nations for electric motors, lighting, and transformers.
