On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Pahninidgaim by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, orders that
WHEREAS the chief forester has classified areas of land containing 16 485 hectares, more or less, adjacent to the Vancouver Island Plantations Forest Reserve ("the reserve") as forest land.
AND WHEREAS the classified areas are described and are to be included into the reserve
NOW THEREFORE it is ordered that Order in Council Number 1802/44, establishing the reserve, be amended to the extent that the area described in it as the reserve be augmented so that the Vancouver Island Plantations Forest Reserve will constitute a total area of 68 287 hectares, more or less, as described by individual lots, blocks and sections on the attached Schedule A and shown outlined diagonally hatched on Key Map Number 23 Locker 2 on the registers of the Forest Service; and that the area be designated as the Vancouver Island PlanLations Provincial Forest.
