Church Magazines: Copies of the February edition of

the St Anne's Parish and Life and Work Magazines are

available for collection today at the rear of the

Sanctuary.

St Anne's Guild meets again on Tuesday 5 February at

7.30 pm in the Kaimes Road Hall. Annie Scanlon is

coming to speak to us on 100 years of swimwear.

The thought will make your shiver in this weather but

come along and hear what she has to say and show

us. A warming cup of tea and a blether afterwards

will complete the evening.

We look forward to see you there.

The FAN Club meets on Friday, 8th

February 2013 at

10.30 a.m. for coffee/tea and some home-baking, as

usual, followed by our speaker, Robert Murray. His

subject is Philately. He has spent his life selling and

collecting stamps and has become well known for his

expertise. It promises to be a fascinating subject.

Please come along and bring your friends - it is the

wrong time of day for grandchildren - a great pity!!

Britten and Britain: Durham University Chamber

Choir, conducted by Calum Zuckert, present their

Edinburgh weekend tour:

Saturday, 16th February, 2013 @ 7.30pm.

St. Anne's Church, Corstorphine

Programme to include Britten: Ad Majorem Dei

Gloriam, Five Flower Songs; MacMillan: Miserere;

Wood: Hail Gladdening Light; Mealor: Ubi Caritas.

Tickets: Suggested donation £10 / £5.

We will also be singing at the morning Eucharist

(10.30am) and Choral Evensong (3.30pm) in St Mary's

Episcopal Cathedral on Sunday, 17th February.

Intimations: All intimations to be included in next

week’s order of service should be delivered to the

church; placed in the box in the kitchen or e-mailed to

[email protected] NO LATER THAN

9am on Wednesday morning.

Gift Aid Envelopes are available in the pews for

members and visitors should they wish to further

contribute to the worldwide work of the church by

adding gift aid to their offering. If you are using one of

the envelopes please fill in your name and address as

without that we are unable to reclaim the tax on the

donation.

Pew Cards: These are available should you wish to

join the congregation; know someone who requires a

visit; or wish to take a more active role in the life of

the congregation.
