Reflection of Life

Deacon Eddie Lee Hall, Sr. age 54

Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise him all crea-

tures here below, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. On Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020 an angel was dispatched to usher Eddie

home to be with his Lord and Savior. His departure was sudden, we had no idea he had received a one way ticket for a trip to be with the Master. Eddie was born in Elbert County to the late

Curtis Hall, Sr. and Fannie Mae Carpenter Hall.

Eddie was the type of man that never met a stranger, and would tell you what was right regardless if you liked it or not.

His favorite saying was “Everyone who laughs in your face is

not your friend.”

Eddie received his formal education in the Elbert County School System. He worked in the granite business for over 30

years. He loved people and tried to live right.

On July 13, 1989 Eddie received the Lord Jesus into his heart. He was a faithful Deacon and Pastor Armor Bearer

for many years at the Youth Crusade Evangelistic Center in Greenwood, SC under the Leadership of Pastors Bobby

and Rose Chiles.

Preceding him in death: a son Eddie Hall, Jr.; two brothers:

Steve Carpenter and Jim Matthew Hall; sisters: Ruby Heard and Sarah Ardister; two nephews Cedric Carpenter and Douglas

Oglesby, Jr.

Those who will forever cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years Mrs. Stephanie Wigfall Hall of the home; sons: LeRoy Andre Wigfall (Sabrina) of Lavonia, GA, Jason

DeAndre Hall (La Shannon, fiancée) of Anderson, SC: two brothers, Curtis Hall, Jr. (Valencia) and Julius Hall (Sharon)

of Elberton, GA; four sisters, Bonnie Oglesby (JT) of Athens, GA, Sandra Hall of Elberton, GA, Lisa Hall (Mike) of Toccoa, GA, Maria Teasley of Elberton, GA; mother-in-law Rosetta

Tracy (Fred), Charleston, SC; father-in-law Leroy Stoney, Charles-ton, SC; two sisters-in-law: Tonia Dearing (Brian) of Augusta, GA and Arlette Chardonet (Reggie) of New York; two brothers-in-

law: Derrick Phillips of Charleston, SC and Sean Stoney of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren: Ciara Alexis Wigfall, Nermya

Stewart Cade, Mike Mercer, Dwight Garrison, Ronnie Gaines and James Cade; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives

and friends.

“I’ll be seeing you”

I am at rest so don’t cry.

It will be easier as time goes by. I’ve done my best to live a good life.

For I knew if I did, I could be with Christ.

As my body lies here, it’s only a shell. God has called me home and my job I’ve done well.

Now I’m happy and very content. For the things I’ve done wrong, I repent.

You know and I know that it’s hard on earth,

so you should not cry at death, but at birth. I have no worries, pains or fears.

Because I’m with God, so dry your tears.

I love you all and this is what I want you to do. Put God first in your life and I’ll be seeing you.

I’M FREE Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,

I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call:

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found my place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too shall miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow: I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savoured much;

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my life seemed all too brief:

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free.

Brother"

You gave no one a last farewell..

Nor ever said goodbye..

You were gone before we knew it, and only god knows why..

A million times I will miss you..

A million times I will cry..

If love alone could have saved you..

You never would have left..

In life I loved you dearly..

In death I love you still..

In my heart you hold a place no one else can fill..

It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone,

for part of me went with you,

the day God took you home...

We will meet again someday..

I know in a better place.

I thank God he made you my brother while you were

here on earth..

Hallelujah & Amen

Heaven may be your new home now but you will always live in our hearts.
