Week of July 12, 2009
● Mission Trip was a huge success. We had a great trip and
touched many lives, as well as had our lives touched by our brothers and sisters in Ft. Worth. Thanks for your prayers
for us!
● Tonight make plans to help with VBS from 4-6pm to
decorate, then we’ll attend the volunteers’ meeting at 6pm. If you can stay after the meeting we’ll continue with
decorating. Dinner will be provided to everyone who decides to stay after the meeting. Be there!
● This is your last day to check the table in the YC for Camp
Rock Creek lost and found items. These items will be taken
to Northwest tomorrow.
● Mystery Trip sign-ups are available in the YC. Mystery trip
is for 2009/2010 Juniors and Seniors. The cost is $50. Join
us!
VBS Setup & Volunteer MeetingBEGINS TODAY AT 4pm:
Come help set up for VBS beginning at 4 p.m. and then stay
for our volunteer meeting at 6 p.m. Those who are in Bible drama will have practice at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided
for those who stay following our volunteer meeting to practice or help set up. Volunteers please turn in your $15 by tonight. T
-shirts will be passed out at the meeting.
VBS TOMORROW - Fish Tales: It is not too late to register for VBS. We will begin tomorrow July 13-17 from 6:30-8:30 pm
for ages 3 years to 6th grade. Registration forms are available
at the Fish Tales display in the foyer or you may register online at delcitychurch.org.
Back to School Bash – Saturday, August 8th: Sign-up in
the foyer to help with this outreach event. We will pass out school supplies to kids in the Del City community from 9am to
1pm. The Blue Cross Blue Shield Caring Van will be here to give free immunizations as well. We will need help with
playing games, making breakfast, and passing out school supplies to kids in our community. We also need cosmetologist who can cut hair. Sign-up today if you can help.
