ORDER OF WORSHIP We welcome all who are joining us in worship this morning. If you would like to share a prayer of joy or concern, we invite you to write them down on the podium outside the sanctuary entrances. During the Moment of Greeting we invite everyone to fill out the fellowship pad and pass the pad down your pew and back again. ANNOUNCEMENTSWe are pleased to welcome back The Rev. David M. Powers

as our guest minister this morning. A native of Springfield, MA,David was ordained in the United Church of Christ in Rutland, VT,in 1967. He lives in Dennis, where he served as minister of theDennis Union Church. More recently, he served as minister of theBriarcliff Congregational Church, Briarcliff Manor, NY, and as anintentional interim minister in New York, Ohio, and Wellfleet,MA. He is the author of “Snapshots of the Kingdom: Communicat-ing the Parables of Jesus.”

Our Summer Suppers will begin again with a SpaghettiDinner on Friday, June 29, 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Themenu will include Tuscan Bean Soup, Salad, Spaghetti & threemeat sauce, garlic bread and Italian Almond Apricot Crepes. Costis $10 for adults; $5 for youth. You may sign up at the OpportunityTable in the lobby of Fellowship Hall. Volunteers are needed andappreciated for set up, cooking, serving and clean up. Save this date for a special Couples’ Club meeting – Mon-day, July 30, 6:00 p.m. at the church. The group will gather fordinner and then proceed to the church sanctuary to attend the 8:00p.m. Hyannis Sound concert. The meal will feature clam chowder;sign up at the Opportunity Table (by July 22) to bring a dessert orsalad. Cost is $5 per couple for dinner and bring $10 per person(cash) for the concert. House guests are welcome and you areencouraged to pass the word to other church members who mightenjoy an evening out. Call Bette or Peter West at 508-457-9860with questions. Hyannis Sound is an a cappella singing group of10 young men who perform contemporary and old standards.
