Mr. GEORGE BARROW, F.G.S., delivered a lecture on "TheHighland Schists and their Metamorphism," which was illustratedby the oxy-hydrogen lantern.
A specimen of Gyrodus cretaceus, Ag., from Warlingham, wasexhibited by Mr. DIBLEY.

ABBOTT, F.G.S.Mr. TOPLEY'S paper was illustrated by numerous photographs,
shown by the oxy-hydrogen lantern. Mr. ABBOTT exhibited aseries of specimens in illustration of his paper.
