CANBY, Ore. -- Albert Burney Auction Company continued its streak of successful auctions along the West Coast Saturday with its sale of approximately 350 acres along the Molalla River in Clackamas County for $2.1 million. "Nothing beats having some momentum, and we have a lot of that at the moment," said Warren Ward, president of the auction company, which attracted 13 bidders Saturday for the auction of the Oregon land, located along the Molalla River.

The Molalla River provides some of the area’s best fishing, with spawning beds for Chinook salmon and steelhead trout, among other species. While much of the land

has been cleared for grazing and agriculture, the property along the riverfront has been left wooded, permitting development of wooded home sites. Build your riverfront estate. Because there are seven homes on this property, this riverfront land may be developed into valuable river residences. Why? Because the homes may be moved and improved.
