CHAIRMAN REPORT Howdy All:
The Oregon Six Gun Championship is in the books, as are all of the scheduled Chairman Contests for 2019. The Oregon shoot is outside in a park with lots of shade trees which makes for a really neat venue. Howard Baker and his crew did a great job putting on the contest. I don’t know who all was involved in helping Howard, perhaps he can list a few in his Vice Chairman Report. We already have three Chairman Contests scheduled for 2020. Ohio, Canada, Oregon. See the contest information page later in this issue. I have included a few photos I was able to obtain from various sources, especially Pat Quesnell, Ruth Ann Qualls, and Peggy Franks. Thanks for providing those.

Secretary Report
Well, this year is in the books & we can start to look forward & plan for next year. I hope everyone enjoyed their shooting. Congratulations to all of the year end winners. You did a bang up job. Also, congratulations to the people who put on the Chairman events. You out did your selves & everyone who went to them obviously enjoyed them. Have a great time off & shoot safe.

Vice Chairman Reports
Area 6 , Area Baker. 6, Ore, Wash, Idaho, Howard Baker- Well because of better WFDA attendance than last year , some cross over shooters from other Associations and the donations made through the Go Fund Me site , Oregon 6 Gun Fast Draw is on the books to host a WFDA Sanctioned match in 2020. IF ANYONE HAS ANY CHANGES THEY WOULD LIKE FOR THE 2020 MATCH, now is the time to bring it up before the official flyer is made up ( may not make the change , but we will consider it ). To hopefully relieve some hassles there will be a change in shooting doubles and some of the fun pot shoots. Thanks to the Texas Holdem card game Friday night and the MC for the Truck and Tractor pulls for the use of the PA system ( we are shopping to upgrade our system for the 2020 match.) Thanks to all that got involved in both the Bucket Raffle, General raffle and the oral auction, allowed Oregon 6 Gun to bank a few dollars for startup money for 2020. Anyone knowing of possible sponsors contact me. We have a couple new members looking for a Thumber. till next time Howard Baker Area 9 Howdy shooters. Well the shooting year is winding down, that is always a sad time for me. We have only had 2 contest here in Area 9 this year, with one more to go. Our last contest will be The Kansas State Championship in Arkansas City, Kansas October, 26th Come shoot with us, you will be glad you did. Right now we are practicing for the double 4" balloon elimination contest that will be in Area 2, in Newkirk, Ok October 12th we havent had one of those in quite a while ought to be fun. I want to talk to you about something that is very important to me, The WFDA. This association belongs to us. We run it, we vote on every thing that has any thing to do with it. If there is something you don't like you can't change it by quiting. We are seeing a small gain in membership. I would like to see that grow a lot. The only way that is going to happen is if we get out there and talk to people, show them what Fast Draw is and let them try it. If every one of us could get one new member our membership would of course double. The more shooters, the more contest, the more interest in our sport. SHOOT FAST AND TRUE JIM TINSLEY

> summer. Starting on Canada Day, July 1, we did a FD demo in Ft. > Langley, which was followed by another demo July 13, in the nearby > Brae Island, also in Ft. Langley, and then we held our Annual Contest > in Aldergrove. (which is going into its 13th year now!) on July 20th > weekend, then in August we were ‘off to Oregon’ for the Sixgun > Championships there. This was followed by our set of FD Demos on > Vancouver Island at the Comox Valley Exhibition when we returned, near > the end of August. In September, we held our Fast Draw training > feature during the Langley Rod and Gun Club’s Family Day event.
