About the College:Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust was founded in the year 1992 by the eminent Industrialist and Philanthropist,

Shri T.S.R Khannaiyann. The Trust is being managed by the Secretary, Smt. SarasuwathiKhannaiyann, Joint Secretary Smt.

Priya Satish Prabu and Trustee Shri.K.Sakthivel Raja. Since its inception the Trust has involved itself in benevolent activities

for inculcating quality education by promoting various types of Educational Institutions.

Hindusthan Educational Trust pursues a philosophy of perpetual acquisition of knowledge. Apart from academic curriculum,

equally important is the policy to provide value-based education and to bring out the hidden potential in students that equip

them to approach life with optimism. The main motive of the Hindusthan Trust is to serve the needy. The Trust adopts poor

children and offers free education. It also offers assistance and guidance pertaining to higher studies. The Trust also helps them

to earn a living. The Trust motivates the rank holders and toppers by providing financial assistance.

The College was started in the year 1998 with 300 students with 20 faculty members and now the college has grown from

strength to strength. The college has 320 teaching staffs with a total of more than 8600 students. There are 24 UG Programmes

and 14 PG Programmes, 3 Diploma Programmes and 10 Research Departments organising M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes.

The reason for its success is the commitment, dedication and loyalty of our faculty members facilitated by philanthropic activities

of the management having a focus on delivering value-based education and providing opportunities for the students to experience

the excellence to face the global challenges.

Brief Profile of the DepartmentPG &Research Department of Commerce with International Business started in the year of 2002-2003. The department offers

an intensive coaching and holistic training on accounting and commercial area, workshops, seminars, conferences are conducted

by eminent businessmen from corporate sectors to build the leadership qualities for job opportunities. To make the student to

join the skills in present business field industrial visits, guided project, International trip arrangements and also conducts Export

Import documentation workshop by eminent personalities in the field of Logistics. The Customized training and intricate of

accounting are taught through Tally, Multimedia and other requirement, which are in force time to time. The students are

motivated to build leadership qualities by participating in Seminars, debates and workshop, lab oriented spoken English skills

and workshops are taught to develop their communicative skills. The department of International business conducts CAP

programme yearly once in order to build the leadership qualities in each and every student. The department of International

business has produced more than 800 Commercial graduates to the business world.

Program and its objectivesStatistical data analysis and its interpretation is an important constituent of any research process. Research Scholars of various

disciplines are required to have an exposure to advanced statistical packages. In this context, this workshop has been envisaged

to offer hands-on training in SPSS and AMOS to the faculty members and research scholars. The program is expected to provide

participants with an opportunity to learn about applications of advanced research methodology techniques in academic research.

About the WorkshopThis program is aimed at research scholars, and academic researchers who aspire to have an exclusive knowledge on Data Analytics using SEM.
