Sunday, March 24, 13
• Biotic Factors– The living parts of the environment
such as plants, bacteria (single cell), fungi, and animals
• Abiotic Factors
Sunday, March 24, 13
• Biotic Factors– The living parts of the environment
such as plants, bacteria (single cell), fungi, and animals
• Abiotic Factors– are non living parts of the
environment such as rocks, soil, water, air, the sun, and temperature
Sunday, March 24, 13
If you change an abiotic factor it will cause a change in a biotic factor.
Ex. Global warming causes an increase in temp (abiotic) which will effect the habitat of polar bear
(biotic). If you change a biotic factor it WILL NOT change
abiotic factors.
